RULES & INFORMATION
FORMAT:
THE MASTERS: 2 Score- Best Ball Tournament- You will pick a total of 4 golfers: 1 from each tier (tiers are based on Vegas odds to win the tournament). You will take the best 2 scores from each hole of the 4 golfers. Ex: Tiger Woods, John Daly, Tom Brady & Bagger Vance record a 4,3,6 and 5 on the first hole... The best 2 scores would be 3 & 4 (or a 7).. And so on... At the end of 4 rounds, the lowest score wins. Please see the sample score sheet below:
THE 3 OTHER MAJORS: Same exact format but pick 5 golfers, and take the best 3 scores.
WHAT HAPPENS IF MY GOLFER DOESN’T MAKE THE CUT?
If any of your golfers do not make the cut, the remaining golfers on your team will carry more weight.
If 3 golfers get cut, you are automatically eliminated.
IF IN THE EVENT OF A TIE (OVERALL AND EACH DAY):
OVERALL:
If at the end of the tournament there is a tie, the tie breaker method will be comparing the 4 rounds starting with Round 4 and going backwards to R1.
For example: Team 1 finished -60 overall, posting scores: R1: -12, R2: -10, R3: -24, R4: -20
Team 2 finished -60 as well overall, posting scores: R1: -10, R2: -12, R3: -18, R4: -20
Team 1 would win the tie breaker as R4 was still tied at -20, but R3 was -24 vs -18.
If there is still a tie after this method, then I will match cards starting with the hardest hole on the final round, and work backwards to the easiest.
EACH INDIVIDUAL DAY:
I will match cards starting with the hardest hole (based on the tournament scoring statistics)...Then second hardest hole, etc. until there is no longer a tie.
Same best ball format will apply in matching cards. I will match cards until the top places are determined.
If people end up picking the same exact 4 golfers and they finish in the top payout places... That will be the only instance where I will divide the payout.
COST & PAYOUTS:
Cost is $20 per entry- No limit on entries.
Payouts/Places will be determined by number of entries.. Usually around 1-1.5% of total entries.
Each place, along with best round per day will get paid. Matching Cards will take effect if there is a tie.
Payment is required for official entry into the pool unless prior arrangements have been made. All payments must be received before the start of the pool; otherwise, the entry will be considered invalid.
WHAT HAPPENS IF MY PLAYER WITHDRAWS?
It depends on when he Withdraws...
If the golfer WD's AFTER he posted scores (for example: Player A plays 9 holes then WD because of a bad back)... Then unfortunately, you're out of luck.
If the golfer WD's BEFORE his tee time:
- You can email me and change picks with someone in the SAME tier who hasn't Teed off yet..
or if you don't email with with a replacement in time, then:
I will replace him automatically with the player who has the worst score after round 1 (in same tier)..
Please be aware of the golfers you select- and what their status is!
